Our client specialises in funding solutions across a number of disciplines to businesses in the UK

 

The Underwriter will play a critical role in assessing, structuring, and approving credit

applications, ensuring that new and existing facilities are delivered within delegated authority

limits and aligned with the Group’s risk appetite

 

Proven experience as an Underwriter in financial services, with delegated authority

responsibility.

• Strong knowledge of credit assessment, financial analysis, and risk evaluation.

• Good commercial awareness and understanding of market and sector dynamics.

• Ability to make robust, consistent decisions within delegated limits and agreed SLA.

• Strong communication skills, able to explain credit decisions to Sales and senior

stakeholders.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
